Transmission Cooler Thermostat for Early Bronco

Description

This dual stack cooler and fan is a great combo to keep your Transmission cool.

We install this cooler under the driver seat where your old side tank was. If you still have the side tank you can mount the cooler on the passenger side. Not as good as the driver side that has a second step under the driver seat, this keeps the cooler protected and up out of harms way. We offer the cooler with a -6 or -8 size AN fitting, it just depends on the size of external fittings and hose you want to run. The heat exchange rating is the same for -6 or -8.

With it’s own air supply, the Electra-Cool Remote Trans cooler can literally be mounted wherever space permits. It has an efficient 16 pass tube and fin cooler coupled with a Tornado fan and aluminum brackets. This is a durable, trouble-free way to add years to the life of your transmission.

You can automate your fluid cooling system by adding the Inline Fan Thermostat. It installs onto a -6 AN or -8 AN fitting and will automatically activate your cooler fan. When the fluid reaches 180°F preset turn-on temperature, the fan comes on. The Turn-off temperature is preset at 165°F so when the cooler does it’s job the fan automatically turns off. The switch is good for up to 15 Amps.
