Zf clutch line NEW OPTIONS

Description

This is a Flexible Stainless Steel hydraulic hose that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder when doing a ZF conversion. The factory hose is a molded plastic line designed to fit the stock F series trucks.  We now offer a few different options depending on different aftermarket parts used by customers. The hoses can be flipped top to bottom. The hose we have offered from day one requires you to remove the quick disconnect from the slave cylinder and push the hose directly into the slave cylinder and reinstall the roll pin. The only bad part is this needs to be done before the transmission in installed (with the slave cylinder). It has not been an issue to remove the disconnect because the slave cylinder is more likely to fail before the hose would, requiring you to remove the transmission to replace the slave anyway. In that case you can just remove the roll pin at the master and pull the hose with the transmission.

Some people want to use aftermarket hydraulics so we offer these other hose options. They may want to use a Wilwood master cylinder to match the brakes with a ZF (we don’t recommend doing that because the stroke does not match) Some hose options we offer are for other transmission conversions that use external slave cylinders like the modular ZF or other custom conversions like the T56.

#21-24000 This is the standard ZF clutch hose we have been using for over 20 years using a roll pin on both ends. This eliminates the quick connector that always fails to release.

#21-24001 This hose has the roll pin on one end and a1/8NPT fitting on the other

#21-24002 This hose has a roll pin on one end and a 90* 3/8″-24 on the other end

#21-24003 This custom hose is for you guys that are making a custom clutch system and need 2x hard 90* fittings for clearance 3/8″-24 thread

#21-24004 This version is used if you want to use a -3 adapter on one end of the line
