47-00351 #3 Heim Joint Stud for Early Bronco 66-75 knuckles

Description

This chromoly tapered stud will fit the 66-75 Bronco knuckles (drum or disc) and pitman arm to provide a good, solid mounting point for the heim joint/rod end. The stud is the same size as the stock tie rod end with NO REAMING REQUIRED*. This provides a much more secure way to mount the heim to your knuckles and pitman arm!

The gold zinc-coated stud is heat treated to 45 RC 4130 and is designed to use a 3/4″ heim joint. Designed with two flat spots (wrench reliefs) on the top of the stud so you can prevent the stud from turning when removing the nut – something you cannot do with a standard tie rod end.

Kit includes one stud, two castle nuts, one safety washer and two cotter pins.

*For 76-77 knuckles you will still have to ream the knuckle for these to fit (just not as much as if using the bigger F150 stud.)

If going tie rod over on a 66-75, or using F150 knuckles, you will need to order part # 47-00350 instead.
