75-00123 Windshield Frame Stiffeners 10″ Long for Early Ford Bronco
$59.99
Description
One end bolts to the stock windshield frame and the other end bolts to a provided, weld on tab. The tab is welded to the front of the roll bar. Ball studs make them flexible and they are adjustable and lock with 2 wrenches . Sold in sets of 2, 10″ long center to center with about 1.25″ of adjustment. WE ONLY USE FK HEIMS NOT CHEAP JUNK HEIMS.
These rods are intentionally made a small diameter so you can not use them as a handle to pull your self into the bronco. If they were bigger you would feel safe holding on to them or bracing yourself in the event of a rollover, this can cause your fingers to be pinched off or badly damaged. In High school I knew a kid who did exactly that, we called him “TOM THUMB”
There are many different designs of roll cage available so pick a stiffener that will allow you to adjust your windshield to door gap and secure your windshield frame. *Without stiffeners the only thing that keeps your windshield frame in position, and paint on your doors is the thin rubber that glues to the windshield frame.
