This is the new headers designed by BCB just for the Classic Bronco. They are ceramic coated inside and out, 14 ga. 1 5/8″ tubes and 2 1/2″ collectors. The flanges are 3/8″. All 409 stainless steel. We use a 3 bolt dome flange so there is no gasket between the collector and the head pipe to blow out, for a much better seal. The dome is similar to the ball flange but works better. These headers have been tested on 289, 302, 351w engines and C4, C6, 3speed, 435, AOD, NV3550, NV4500 and ZF transmissions also D20, Stak and Atlas transfer cases. We tested these headers on a 351w with EFI (ZF, D20 456 gears 35″ tires), and gained 27 horsepower. Plus another 11 hp with our head pipe. See the dyno sheets on this page.
