This is the best way to make your u-joint stronger for only a few bucks. when u-joints are under load the needle bearings act as threads and try to push the u-joint cap out, with a half circle clip the clip doesn’t hold up very well. The full circle clip gives 2X the holding power to keep the cap in place these are the same clips that come with the CTM u-joints. While wheeling we broke a left front axle and to our surprise when we pulled the axle to replace it, the axle wasn’t broke, the cross of the u-joint was. The u-joint caps and clips were still in the axle. $1.00 each or 8 for 5.99.
